Eyebrows

Before your treatment

To ensure your skin is prepared for no/minimal healing problems, you must begin to prepare 1 week prior to your treatment.

This means that you must avoid the following:-

- Alcohol, caffeine, high energy drinks (As this thins your blood and can increase bleeding) for 72 hours prior

-Avoid Sun exposure and tanning products 30 days before the treatment on the area. Charlotte will not preform the treatment on any kind of sunburn.

- Botox. No later than 6 weeks before your treatment and no sooner than 3 weeks after your follow-up appointment.

-Ibuprofen and Aspirin 7 days prior.

- Blood Thinners. If you have high/low blood pressure you will need to provide evidence of your doctors permission to carry out this treatment. And if possible and approved then to stop taking any blood thinners one week prior to the appointment.

- Chemical peels must not be preformed 60 days prior your appointment and no sooner than 60 days after your appointment (including your follow-up). Having frequent facial peels will fade your tattoo prematurely and will need to avoid the tattoo area at all times.

- Spices that thin your blood; Cinnamon/Tumeric ect

- If you are using any products with Retinol or AHA's in, you need to stop using these for at least 2 weeks prior to the appointment.

- Must not have had a brow Lamination within 5 weeks before your appointment.

Aftercare of your new brows

To ensure you get the best healing results you will need to look after your brows for the first two weeks.

This will mean that:-

-You will not be able to carry out any activity that may cause excessive sweating. This includes cardio, gym work, hot baths, hot tubs, saunas ect.

-No swimming for two weeks.

-Your eyebrows must not get wet for the first week. So remember to wash your hair before your procedure. Either the day before or the day of your appointment.

-Keep out of any sun exposure and UV rays on the tattooed area.

-Your brows will scab over. DO NOT PICK! Picking/scratching the scabs will potentially pull out any pigment that has not yet been healed into the skin.

-Your brows will become itchy over the next few days as they heal over. Avoid itching.

-The only product you are allowed on the tattooed area during this time will be Vaseline. You must not put any facial cleansers, make-up, moisturizers on the area  during the healing time.
